Submission of a project on "the study of the Cetaceans in Lebanese marine waters" to the Secretariat of ACCOBAMS in Monaco.

Preparation of a Libano- Italian Project: "Environmental monitoring and sustainable development of the Lebanese marine water" – CANA.

Signature of a MoU with ICA Spain to study hydrological and hydrobiological parameters in the palm island sea.

• The NCMS enjoys close relationships with various mainline ministries such as the Ministry of Environment, and through it is integrated to several of the activities of the UNEP Mediterranean Action Plan.
