Lebanese Atomic Energy Commission - agreements
The LAEC is engaged with IAEA in following activities:
- National regulatory control and occupational radiation protection
program
- Development of technical capabilities for sustainable radiation and
waste safety infrastructure
- Radiation protection calibration services (SSDL)
- Determination of toxic pollutants in the environment (GC-MS, LSC)
- Alpha spectrometry for food and environmental measurements
- Isotope application for improved ground water use
- Management of cancer by use of tumor markers
