GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO AUTHORS (En)


Preparation of manuscripts
• Unpublished and original articles should be submitted for consideration by the Editorial and Advisory Committee.

• Manuscripts of ? 5000 words and should be submitted on a diskette (MS- Word and TNR x 9), together with two hard copies. The printed page should not exceed 12x18 cm. The metric system and Arabic numerals should be used.

• Manuscripts should be divided into the following sequence of headed sections: Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and/or Methods, Results and Discussion, Acknowledgement and Bibliography. Non – English articles should also have an English abstract.

• Reports of about 3 000 words should consist of the following sequence: Title, Abstract, Main text with illustrations or tables, Acknowledgement and References. Letters and short communications may be accepted without subdivisions.

References and illustrations
• References in the text start with the name of the author followed by date of publication, both in parenthesis.

• Bibliography should be in alphabetical order, and should be given in the following parts: Author's name, and initial. Date of publication. Paper title. Contracted title of Periodical in italics, volume No : inclusive page numbers. For books: Author (s) name, initial. Date of publication. Name of book in italics. Publisher. No of pages.

• Tables, figures and pictures (B/W), together with their captions, must be embedded within the text and should not exceed 10 x 15 cm.

Language
• Articles in English and French will be considered for publication.

Review and proofs
• Articles will be reviewed by the Editorial and Scientific Committee, and the authors will be notified of the acceptance and expected date of publication.

• One set of proofs will be sent to the author to be checked for any errors. In case of joint communications, and unless otherwise specified, the proofs will be sent to the person whose name appears first on the article.
